Granted, the new app will be of limited appeal, since it’s specific to the devLink 2010 conference, but it represents a couple of weeks of effort toward building a nice framework for conference scheduling that my co-developer and I hope to use in the future.
So, I present for your enjoyment, devLink 2010 Schedule.

Wow, it’s nice to have a bit of time to work on features. In addition to the other recent features, this version has the option to select the default view and sort for the patient list.

Just released v1.0.5 to the market. This version rearranges the options (nested for future expansion). It also includes the ability to configure the postpartum period that patients show up in the active and postpartum views.

Last week I released v1.0.4. The main “feature” was an overhaul of the options screen to make it easier to maintain and more consistent with the Android UI. As a side effect of this change, old preferences may be lost and there may be a few glitches.
There is also an option to change the size of the patient list names now.
I am working on more features as time allows. I appreciate all of the feedback and suggestions I have gotten so far. I am doing my best to incorporate as many of them as I can.

Apparently some people have noticed my app because I just checked and there are 300 active installs out of 671 downloads. I have also recently gotten several emails with feature requests. I have been adding all of them to the list, so keep them coming.
I have been working on a rewrite of the way options are handled. The downside of this is that existing preferences may be lost in the next upgrade. The upside is that it will be much easier for me to make future options customizable.
Anyway, I hope to have the next version out this week, although it’s always hard to predict how much time I’ll be able to spend on the app.

Last night I released version 1.0.2. This version incorporated two tweaks to the UI. Larger names in the patient list (although I may revisit this again later because long names now flow into two lines) and multiline support for the comments box for patients.
I am still working on incorporating other feedback items as I have time. I am pleased to not that I have 323 downloads and 149 of those are active which is better than I would have expected.
I appreciate the feedback that I have received so far. It is very helpful.

Fixed an issue with orientation change/physical keyboard opening when editing a new patient. Thanks to Juan Carlos for reporting it.

Well, I published Midwife Patient Tracker v1.0 (beta) to the market yesterday. I have almost 50 downloads so far, and one three star review with some feedback.
I know I have a lot of features to add, but getting it out there is an important step.

So, I’m in the process of trying to get my first beta version of my patient tracker application cleaned up so I can try to deploy it to the market. There are still many features I want to implement, and I am sure there are some bugs to be found. If you’re using the application, please let me know if you find a bug so I can try to fix it. A low rating in the market isn’t the best feedback method for defects.
